Slushy

Slushy day, it was snowing hard when we got up, very grey, light snow but bitterly cold and blowing hard. We were glad of the scotch  broth at lunch time.I hope the snow clears we have plants to sort out and the large planter to empty.

OH to the dentist to get his tooth out. His blood count was down yesterday so ok for the extraction.

I have almost finished the binding on the quilt, so it can be packaged up and sent on its way tomorrow. We have arranged for the removers to deliver some boxes so I can pack up all my treads, sewing stuff etc and take the machine down and box it up There is also the machine I use for workshops and my overlocker  that can go in their boxes. I might also managed to get fabric packed too, then all they have to do is load them.

Supper tonight macaroni cheese jacket spud, celery and tomato salad. I have made creme caramelle for dessert.

There is little more welcoming that warm, delicious soup on a really cold day. Cheers for yummy Scotch broth to warm you both up, heart, soul, and tummies. At last we have sunshine and a warmer day today. Has the weather warmed up around your new home?

How wise of you to request boxes so you can back your creative treasures, tools, and fabrics yourself. You know how to pack them to keep them safe.

More unpacking will happen here and we need to repack DS2's dishes, glassware, and all that will go to storage shelves in the garage.

Hugs!

Isn't moving such an interesting experience ?~! You're wise to pack the most valuable pieces yourself. I just read where a woman lost her sewing machine power cord and all her accessories during the move of her things-very sad.

Hoping there are no complications from OH's extraction and that the weather smiles a bit on you both as you work outside preparing.
