It is very cold, windy and grey. OH went to empty the rubbish and was frozen by the time he got back into the apartment. There was a slight snow fall overnight but nothing like other parts of Scotland and England have had. I am so glad we were not moving this weekend,
Been doing a bit of detective work and have found the house we are going to was built in 1997, so reasonably modern, I suspect there is a water meter fitted, I cannot remember when the regulations came in.
OH has filled one of the boxes which came yesterday.......thats his ration I have one to do after lunch, the rest of the thread boxes out of the cupboard.
Supper tonight, stew, its in the slow cooker, the pressure cooker has had to go back to Prestige for them to fix the lid. Mash and veg. Dessert, the rest of the plum crumble I made yesterday.
Update: I have just packed my box for today, the cupboard in the guest room is now empty........

Am glad to hear you and OH are making progress toward packing up and have a couple of weeks to finish the task. You're an expert at managing this daunting task.
We learned this morning that our guest will arrive 2 days earlier than planned so I have much to do. Help!

How sad that the nasty poster has to share her unhappiness with everyone. Only an unhappy person can spew her hateful comments to people who don't deserve it. And a coward..why not identify yourself and say it to their faces?

Your packing is going along swimmingly it appears, that's great, Anne. I am in awe of your fantastic organizational skills; it's an ongoing experience for me. Your writing is very helpful and I thank you for your daily updates and no-nonsense way of life.
