Wednesday

Last night visit to hear the talk on the Prestonpans Tapestry was interesting but a bit long winded, we enjoyed it. I look forward to seeing the Tapestry of Scotland which they are hoping will be finished
for display at the Scottish Parliament Building in September. The Prestonpans Tapestry is going to Bayeaux in the summer to be displayed with the Bayeaux Tapestry....quite an honour.

OH out this morning for a walk. Laundry folded and put away, just the bed linen to iron.....as I do.

This afternoon we went up to the caravan to check that all was well, quite a bit of fluid in the condensation trap. Checked the gas, I need to go up with some hot water and clean the hot plate and also wash out the fridge and start to sort the van out for our trip next month. We booked it in for a full service while we were there.

Bacon pasta, garlic bread and salad for supper....not sure about dessert.

I have a white loaf in the breadmaker, we are almost out of bread, delicious smell coming out of the kitchen, it must be nearly ready.

http://www.prestonpanstapestry.org/tapestry/tapestry_presentation.aspx is the link to see the Tapestry. Several of my friends worked on the tapestry and are now working on The History of Scotland Tapeastry.

I look forward to seeing pictures of these two tapestries when they're on display.

This morning I tried to use the link you provided to see the program about finding Richard III's remains. To my regret, I got to the point of clicking to begin the show when the screen told me I was out of the area so could not view it. Bother!

Do you keep an open container of baking powder in your caravan refrigerator when it's not in use? That really helps a refrigerator in use or not stay fresh smelling.

Oh, for the internet to provide a button so I could click and smell your baking bread. Sigh!

Hugs!

I’ve not heard of the Prestonpans Tapestry and now you have piqued my curiosity so I will investigate. Thanks for telling me about it, Anne.

Glad OH is feeling well enough to go for a walk; isn’t walking just the best exercise and I love to chat with my companion as we stroll thru the neighborhood. My husband and I walk several times a week together and now my girlfriend and I have begun walking too.

Laundry done is a super feeling, we’re doing a load this morning.

Hope your caravan trip next month is a fun one and all equipment behaves and works as it should.

The smell of baking bread is one of life’s greatest pleasures.
