Saturday

We were up and away early, as it was Rugby fans were starting to arrive around Murryfield and the flag sellers were out in force. The machine dealers was very busy several people in there. Beautiful Betty was soon packed in the car and we were on our way home.

I knew calling at Ikea was a mistake.......I wanted a currant catalogue, I ended up spending £30. OH bought me an orchid for valentimes day.....we do not really hold with VD but the orchids were a lot cheaper than in Tesco, and I do love them. We got some more plastic stuff for the caravan, its so much lighter than pot. I have packed it in a box ready to go with the rest of the stuff when we re-stock the van.

Its a very grey day, spitting with rain when we got back. Heavy snow forecast for tomorrow so we put the screen back on the windscreen to be on the safe side.

OH has retired to bed with a dizzy, the first for about 10 days, so he is in bed.

I need to go through and get the machine sorted ready to do some sewing tomorrow.

Supper tonight pizza and salad.  Will do a rice pudding for dessert, a change from bananas.

Cheers that beautiful Betty is home, safe, and in excellent working order! You'll be able to sew to your heart's content as the snow falls tomorrow!

How lovely to have a new orchid to enjoy in the days and weeks to come!

Wish we had an Ikea near us. Sigh!

Am glad the dd waited until your errands were finished and you were back home again.

Sunny and cold here, but we're well south of all that snow that is falling in New England.

Hugs!

Gosh £30 is a lot to pay for a catalogue!

Does it have sultanas in it as well as currants?

Ha ha!!

Lovely to have Betty back where she feels at Home. I hope you get some great satisfaction out of sewing tomorrow. I did so today and it really did feel good; I've been ill since Jan first and this is my sewing restart for '13.

Glad I live where there's such mediterranean weather-we travel to the snow if we want to but here it rarely freezes.
