A dull but bitterly cold morning. I set off just after 9.30 to collect my friend. We called at Asda to fill the car with fuel as the workers at the fuel depot are on strike,
Lots of cars going into the quilt show. We enjoyed looking at the quilts, I cannot post the pictures I took as I cannot find the cord to my camera. As soon as I find it I will down load the pictures.
I was able to get the fabric to finish the baby quilt I am making, so I will be getting on with that over the next couple of weeks.
I was treated to lunch which was very nice, a couple of sandwiches, a strawberry tart and welcome cup of tea. We then did another circuit of the stalls and set off for home just after 2,30. Lots of traffic on the bypass but we did not get held up.
OH was in when I got back and I could smell the kippers he had for his lunch.
Supper tonight pizza, tomato and celery salad and some of the rhubarb and raspberry crumble I made yesterday.
I did not sleep too well again alst night, hope tonight is better,

Oh, I'm so glad you and your friend had a lovely time at the quilt show and that you found the fabric you need!! I look forward to seeing photos after that pesky cord shows up again.
I may have mentioned this before, but my mother used to take a bedtime dose of aspirin when she thought she might no get to sleep easily. It worked wonders for her so you might give it a try. It is said that the many wonderful ways aspirin works is still not well understood by the medical scientists, so it would never have gotten approval for it to be made. Hiccup is, aspirin was for sale here long years before the approval agency was formed!
