A late start this morning, it was after 9 before I woke.
It was a bright but very cold start to the day, now at 2pm it has clouded over and looks like rain.
I did a couple of telephone calls this morning to sort out a couple of things. OH has been going through our filing system and clearing out last years stuff, we put accounts etc in a box in the attic and then shred the oldest that is up there. Today 2007 stuff got shredded.
OH out for a walk and to drop in a couple of books we had finished at the library. I prepped the supper, we need to eat early as OH has an early meeting tonight. Chicken legs from Sunday slowly poached in a white wine sauce with onion garlic and herbs. New potato's, cauliflower and carrots. We have the last of the plum crumble to finish for dessert.
I have not done much today, the ironing looks at me every time I go in the kitchen, might do it whilst OH is out tonight, otherwise it can wait till tomorrow, although I am due to go out tomorrow afternoon with my friend to get the fabric for a project she is going to do.It could be Friday before it gets done.
Very cold this morning, a heavy frost, condensation on the bottom of the windows, its dried off now, no idea how cold it is outside until OH gets back.

It's lovely to have a relaxing day every so often and you're so right, the ironing can wait!
Today is sunny with a forecasted high to be 66*F so that will be delightful. AMIL and I are supposed to run some errands but I don't feel great and she overslept, so am not sure if we're going or not. I'd like to stay home and sew.

A very early morning for me today--
4:30 a.m.! It is cloudy, windy and cold here with a dubious promise of rain.
Yes, dear, your ironing can wait. Unfortunately, like cleaning, it all waits for me! This afternoon I am in front of the fireplace trying to dry my new cast. Foot still is not healed! Hate stress fractures. :(

Our weather is worsening here too as an Alaskan front wends its way south to us. Isn't ironing a malleable chore that can wait til we get to it ?~!
