No more snow here but it was freezing when we went out this morning. I had ordered 2 sets of 4 bulbs for the kitchen light fittings, we have had 4 bulbs go in the last 2 weeks. Argos was the cheapest place so, a trip in the car, which needed its filters cleaning, so a 60mph down the A1 for a couple of miles. We also called at Asda, I managed to find the creme caramel mix I had been looking for......4 packs found their way into my basket. My car is a greenline diesel and we have to give it a burn up from time to time to keep the internal filter clean, it gets changed at service in September.
After lunch we walked to the library, I finished reading my last book last night.....came home with 8.
Supper tonight is fish and chips, we will be having haggis on Friday so I decided to do the f & c tonight. We have one banana, OH asked for banana with toffee sauce.......
OH is walking ok on his bad foot, there was a lot of blood on the dressing last night, but then he is on warfarin, so its only to be expected, He cannot have a shower until Friday, will try and soak the dressing off then, he has to leave it open then.
The long awaited inks have arrived for the printer.....£39.99 for 4 inks and that was the cheapest I could find anywhere, its cheaper to buy the 4 inks in a pack. We use a lot of Black so maybe I will buy a couple of black refills at some point. Our printer refuses to work if one of the inks is out. OH contributed £20 as he uses the printer quite a bit.
Tomorrow is shopping day at Aldi quite a small list all things considered, mostly fruit and veg. I bought OH 12 yogurts last week, both long date out, they had been out of stock for a couple of weeks. I will get another pack of 6 tomorrow.
Hoping to meet my friend for a coffee on Friday and catch up with the gossip.

I'm excited to hear about your trips.
I hope that the news about E's foot is good.
Hope he's managing ok.

Am glad to hear you were able to get errands done, blow the gunk out of your car engine on the A1, and get to the library despite the cold weather.
As always, your menu sounds delicious. We're having chili tonight as that's a yummy cold weather food for us. DH will take some to AMIL for her dinner, too.
Forecast is for snow or flurries likely between now and Saturday. Time will tell.
Hugs!
Just came upon your blog and am delighted. I found that we have something in common when you said you came home with 8 books from the library. Reading is one of my most favorite things to do.
