OH went to the Library and post office, returnd books we had read and posted off two envelops to the US.
After lunch my friend came and we spent a pleasant afternoon sorting out blocks for a quilt for her. We need a visit to my favourite fabric shop for fabric for her to complete her project, we are going to be busy over the next few weeks.
I intended this as a before Christmas project for my other friend, but again, it did not get done. So I will give it her when she comes on Monday.
Not much else done apart from make the beds and cook the supper. I found two portions of spag bol sauce in the freezer when we did the audit, so we are having Spag bol for supper, I made a bread and butter pudding with the last of the Selkirk bannock, mo bananas tonight!!

What a cute table runner and little Christmas tree quilt you created!! Both are just charming and will bring their new owners joy for years to come. Applause!
Did you do that stippling quilting yourself? It looks wonderful and I wonder how on earth you got the curves so smooth and the design so even. What is the secret to your success at this machine quilting? Do tell!
Hugs!
Both your friends must be delighted with their table runner and Christmas tree hanging. Love the colours and fabrics of the runner. Do you have a local shop selling the fabric or does it mean a journey to buy it. Obviously worth it as the fabrics used are so unusual.
Love Halaulani
Your friends are very lucky to have you.
Those are beautiful.
