Looks like this is what is on the cards for us over the next couple of days, brrrrr..... OH has been out to put the shield on the car windscreen to save me having to scrape it when I need to use the car. He said it was perishing outside.
We were late up this morning, OH had a dizzy late yesterday afternoon, so did not sleep too well, he said it was after 3am before he eventually dozed off.
We managed the Friday clean between us, including moving the sofa from hell to hoover underneath, thankfully it was not too bad. I have managed to iron the bed linen and have also prepped the supper, we are having liver and bacon with mash, carrot, cauliflower and calebrese. OH has bananas to use up. I have to say they do keep well in the banana bag I bought last year. No more squashy bananas.
Second lot of medication almost finished, energy is just beginning to show its head but it does not take much to use it up, so spending quite a bit of time reading.
Our neighbour across the landing was in yesterday she is off to New Zealand in a couple of weeks for 6 weeks to see family. She wants us to keep a key so we can make sure everything is ok in her apartment whilst she is away. Spent a very happy half hour chatting about various things, generally putting the world to rights.

Hi Anne,
Oh dear, that snow in Northumberland does look nasty, especially for driving. Stay inside with your feet up and keep cosy and read more books.
Lucky neighbour going to New Zealand. It is my favourite country that I have been lucky enough to visit.

Pleased you are feeling a little better. Stay indoors if possible if it snows. We are predicted snow in Herefordshire - hope it is not alot.

I wish we'd have some snow and real winter weather before spring arrives. Today the warm weather didn't arrive and we've had chilly fog instead.
Cheers that you're feeling better!! Do enjoy your books and sewing so you stay warm and dry.
I hope your neighbor and her family aren't affected by the horrid summer heat and fires in NZ.
Hugs!
That looks like cold weather!
Take care of yourself and OH!

Snow frightens me on a few levels: safety, coldness, ice factor. Good news that you are regaining your strength; it is taking an inordinately long time to recover from a bout the first of the year--I am still weaker than I like...
Liver tops my list of favorite meat and in combination with bacon it's a taste treat. Must get to the market that sells Calves' Liver and do my iron count a boost.
I love your banana bag success; I remember when you got it and the discussion of its relative merits; wonderful that it has worked out as advertised.
