It has snowed all day. OH was out this morning and again this afternoon.
We managed to do the Monday clean between us and I have moved the cabinet with my machine on so I can get the embroidery arm out. I need to get myself sorted. Just now I am binding a table runner with points on the ends, trying to say the least......will get it done eventually.A load of laundry done as well.another load ready to wash tomorrow morning, will dry them on the airer in the sitting room.
On the second sleeve of the jumper I am making, should finish the knitting bit tomorrow and get it sewn up ready for when K comes again.
My friend who usually comes on Monday rang to call off, she had broken a tooth and had an emergency appointment with the dentist, she will come later in the week.
Loaf made in the breadmaker, I will be making another baguette tomorrow, will put the breadmaker on the timer so it will be cooked for lunch time. I mix the dough in the breadmaker then shape it by hand and allow it to rise again before baking in the oven.
Supper tonight, OH asked for sausage and mash with onion and re wine gravy, baked banana for dessert with some custard.
OH rang and booked our site at Port William at the end of May. Will will be visiting friends and hope to meet up with a couple of others whilst we are there. We will be on the homeward stretch after our visit to the midlands, Cheshire and the lake district. Might get to the Lakeland shop in Windermere if I am lucky!!

I love Lakeland, but it really is not a frugal visit for me!
I see it's been another day of many accomplishments for you. Just the thing to keep busy inside when it's a cold and snowy day. How deep is your snow?
Again, I admire anyone whose hands will allow them to knit or to crochet. Sigh!
How lovely to anticipate your planned May trip to see family, friends, and beautiful areas in England! I've wanted to see the Lake District since reading about Beatrix Potter. Hope you get to go to Lakeland and Windermere!
It's chilly and sunny here, but the high tomorrow is to be be 31*F. Brrrrr!
FIL looks like he might not last the week.
Hugs!
I have been planning my holidays this week too. Something to look forward to in this bad weather

Only site we have managed to book so far is Bolton Abbey for Yarndale in September. See Attic 24 blog if you are interested in the festival at Skipton. I had flu for 3 weeks and am only now thinking about site bookings but think you have inspired us to go to Skye-fingers crossed.
