Friday

Burns Night so supper tonight is haggis, neeps, and tatties. Banana for dessert.

Thankfully OH had recovered late yesterday afternoon and had his supper, despite sleeping for several hours during the day he slept ok last night too. He went for his blood test this morning, we are now waiting for a phone call with the results. and to see if he needs to alter his tablets.

Friday clean done with help from OH. We discovered a patch on the carpet in front of the window in the sitting room, it looks like a water mark. No idea where it has come from. I have also has to ring the electrician, the two lights I replaces last night are not working, they were ok last night. He is away for a week but will nip in when he gets back.

OH went to the library this afternoon, I had a wander round the charity shops, picked up a small crystal vase and a couple of birthday cards for my SIL and DGS their birthdays are within 4 days of each other at the beginning of next month.

I still have not finished binding the table runner I was working on.....nor have I done the last sleeve of the jumper I am knitting. I just could not be bothered yesterday.

Need to pull my finger out we have no cake in the tin.

Hope the INR news is that OH's level is right on target and also hope the dds are gone for a good while, if not forever. Wish!

What a delight to find treasures at the charity shop. Didst thou find something wonderful for thee, too?

I'm just in from a quick freezing cold trip to the library to return some DVDs and pick up more Midsomer Murder DVDs that I'd requested. As much as I love living a little way in the country, having just a quick walk to the library would be a delight.

We may have snow this arvo.

Hugs!

I am still wondering what you had for dinner. The only word I understood is bananas

Yes, I too hope that OH's levels are right where they are supposed to be for optimal health. It's been a hard health month for me. Still trying to get back on my feet after a relapse.

We went and made a great pile of donation to the charity shop today; was able to give up some items I have wanted to see go but have had hard time saying good-bye to. Today was the day--glad for it too.

I'm trying a new tater recipe where you slice it many times nearly thru then bake in hot oven--new way of cooking potato for me. Hope it tastes as good as it looks in the photos.
