A bad night for me first for a while, I was still awake at 2.30am.
Garden this morning, there were a couple of heavy showers whilst we were there. Most of the work was weeding and cutting the runners off the strawberries. I also picked up the onions from the beds and put them on the greenhouse, I will string and hang them in the game larder on Tuesday.
We came home vis Aldi, I bought more brussel and winter cauli plants, will have to pot them on. The lettuce I sowed has germinated sporadically, I will have to prick them out and pot them into modules. The swede seeds are showing, but no sign of the parsnip, I sowed a row of each. OH weeded and tied up the raspberries, some of them are starting to ripen, wish the strawberries would, they are really slow, the few had were ripening seem to have been eaten by something. I took off two small courgettes which were going rotten from the tip, another puzzle. Tomatos in the greenhouse watered and fed, they have 3 trusses on so I will be nipping out the main stem when we go next week.
Mr. S is still with us although the Dr thinks he has another couple of days, he is on quite heavy medication just now and is being cared for round the clock.
J appeared half way through the morning, a friend who used to work on the estate died in a fire yesterday, apparently he had a drink problem, its thought he was drunk and fell asleep on the settee his duvet caught the electric fire and the fumes killed him, very sad.
OH brought the long loppers home today and has dead headed the climbing rose and tied it to the canes, there are a lot more flowers to come.
Fish, chips and peas for supper, I have some rhubarb I stewed the other day, I will put a crumble topping on it for dessert, it will do a couple of days at least.
I have put the prices on the 'Whats on Offer' page, postage and packing is extra. I have a few more things to put on which I will do over the weekend.

Playing catch-up again. These days of going to rehab are tiring even tho I don't stay all day. Part of the fatigue is probably from the horrid heat of 103*F yesterday and 104*F today.
Sympathy to all who love Mr. S and to those who loved J's unfortunate friend.
Sounds like your garden is growing well!
Hugs!
