Wednesday

Dancing last night was not quite as energetic as the previous time, lots of dances we did not know, we learnt a couple of new ones which was good. A bright morning, sun shing pity I have no laundry to dry......OH retired to bed with a dizzy, the first for a while. I had a kitchen morning. Used up some baby tomatoes from the garden which I had frozen to make tomato and bacon sauce for tonights pasta. I also gently stewed the rhubarb from yesterday and along with some apple and raspberries made the base for a crumble which I will cook later on. My friend phoned to find out if I was going quilting this afternoon, she is having trouble with the binding on a quilt, so will go for a while. I have nothing on the burner just now. Its the fair this weekend so we concentrated on filling lavender bags at the weekend. We need to spend an hour or so on Sarurday pricing the stuff up and getting the bags ready. We know where our stall is going to be, we have the walls behind us with arcitrave which will be very useful to hang things on. I am taking a few cards, OH is going to make an advertisment for personalised cards lie the one I made for K's neice for her 50th birthday. I forgot to take a photo of it, typical!! Tonights supper, tomato and bacon pasta with garlic bread, apple rhubarb and raspberry crumble for dessert, it should last us a couple of nights at least. We had a wonderful sunset the other night....

I'm so glad you and OH have so many activities to enjoy thru the week that are located nearby your home. What fun!

Again, your menu sounds delicious, but I'd pass on the rhubarb. No, thank you!

Bother about the dd, but as you said, it's been a while. That whole situation is just so puzzling.

We had a huge storm at bedtime last night with lots of lightening and rain. This morning we have dense fog for the 2nd morning in a row. I love fog when I can stay home!

Hugs!

hello - I found your blog looking for other frugal blogs. I like what I've read and I will be back.

I finished making 30+lavender bags today for a charity event on Saturday. I have enjoyed using the sewing machine for the first time in ages to make something small instead of quilts! Good luck with your event on Saturday- we are fundraising for The Eve Appeal.
