No quilting for me today, my fibromyalgia has really reaered its head. I woke just after 6am thought I was having a stroke, could not move, then I realised what was going on. Eventually managed to get out of bed and stagger to the bathroom for medication. By 10am I was just about human, so have done nowt today except sit; headache has returned..... The muscle pain has now settled to a gentle roar instead of a full blown lion roar, I can only manage to type with one finger, need to go into the kitchen and supervise OH doing the haggis neeps and tatties for supper.
I am going to have to have a couple of days sofa bound. OH is going to have to do the shopping tomorrow unless he can borrow a wheel chair, walking is agony.

Oh my, dear friend, I hope this episode is short-lived. It's awful to be in such pain. My prayers for you to be better soon. Take special care of yourself.

Sending big but gentle hugs to you, my friend. What a bother and pain in the neck (and elsewhere) to have the Fibro Monster rear his ugly head. Am glad you have medicine to take for it and hope you feel lots better soon.

[hugs] so sorry you are in so much discomfort. Please rest up, listen to your body and rest whilst you are having this flare up. I know you will get impatient as you will want to get on with things, but please listen to your body and rest. Sofabound with a blanket a good book or something decent to watch on the TV would probably do you the world of good.
Hope your tea was good. I have been out this evening and am out tomorrow evening so may well be having our haggis, neeps and tatties either Friday evening or Saturday.
