Monday Morning

It was -6C when we got up this morning. I slept well, OH said he had a job to get off.

Monday clean done, two beds changed and sheets etc washed, in the dryer ready for tonight.

We walked to the library, OH is back to normal, thankfully everything seems to be working ok but 6 days is a long time. Its another 10 days before we get to see the specialist. I have an appointment tomorrow re my hearing test, I am expecting to be referred, I could only very faintly hear even the top notes in my left ear.

I am working on another set of angels, I think I ought to do several sets do I have them 'in stock' but I have quite a few other things I want to get done, they keep getting pushed back.

Its been a fine, bright but very cold day, the frost is holding on some of the roofs in the complex and you can 'smell' the cold when you are out.

OH has asked for frittata and salad for supper, so I guess I had better go and do some prep towards it. We have the apple and rhubarb crumble for dessert. OH had his banana for his lunch.

It's winter here right now. -22C this morning and in two days suppose to be -30C for the daytime highs.

So glad to read OH is doing better. Hope your hearing tests turn out okay. Hugs

Barbara comment for today...

"Cold here, too, with the morning temperature 21*F and that frigid cold in your nostrils. Brrrr!

Cheers that OH is back to normal. Hope you'll make a note that those sedating medicines knocked him for a loop that lasted for days. Perhaps you should phone the center where the procedure was done and have that note added to his chart in case he has to have the procedure again (heaven forbid!).

Hope there is a helpful and easy solution to your hearing problems.

Wish Blogger would let me post as should be simple. Ta for posting for me.

Hugs!"

You were colder than me this a.m. low of only -3.8*C last night, a lot warmer than Sat. low of -17.6*C
Glad to read that OH is back to normal, and that you had a good night, the seperate bedrooms is certainly working in your favour.
Keep warm
Hugs

Make sure you wrap up warm! Sounds like it's been freezing for you.

Have you borrowed some good books from the library this week?

Good idea about the angel.

A very warm day for January here, but high winds, thus dust blowing and wildfires.

Glad things are getting back to normal, both OH and getting a good night's sleep.
